Sebold Roff, n well known resident of Pen Argjl, who formerly lived In West Scrnnton, died recently at the nd vnni ed age of 62 years. DOQ PUT IN EVIDENCE, By Maintaining a Meek, Inoffensive Look Won a Law Suit. Alderman Howe yesterday afternoon heard the case of Nathan Levi, of Rnymond court, against P. II. Blair, a colored neighbor, whom he alleged to be the owner of u ferocious dog which had bitten a small child In his family. Tho case was heard last Sat urday, but was continued. Levi claimed that the dog sprang upon the little girl and bit her, that It was a savage, surly beast and ought to be shot. At yesterday afternoon's hearing the dog Itself was present, and proved to be a smnll, Inoffensive looking ani mal.
