The Ladles' Aid society of the First
Presbyterian church met at the home
of Mis. Albeit Mowerj, on North
Blakely street Thursday afternoon,
and, as usual with this popular or
ganization, a largo number of the
members were piesent nnd an Inter
esting and Instructive time followed.
After the close ot a somewhat
lengthy business session a report from
the ludusliial school, which Is sup
ported by the Presbyteilan church,
was read by Miss Nettle King. The
report coveicd the Held of work gone
over by the management of the school
for the past four jears nnd showed
that 230 pupils had been enrolled in
that time arrd Instructed In the vari
ous dcpai tments of klndeigarten work.
A large number of articles of clothing
had been made and glv en to needy
persons
At the close of Miss King's report
Miss Emma Ludvvlg plajed a pleasing
solo on the pianoforte; Miss Sallle
Price gave a leading, and Miss Ruby
E. Yost sang a solo In a harming
manner. Later refreshments were
served and social chat ensued until
adjournment was made The next
