night. The large auditorium was tilled
with loveis of music. Thomas II. Miles
gave the cornet solo, "Columbia" In a,
pleasing manner and was compelled to
lespond to an encore.
"Harhara Pride" was then given by
the band. This was followed by tho
series, "Cavalry," "Infantry," "Artil
lery" and "In Uattle." T,hls was list
ened to with intent Interest nnd was
most vigorously applauded. The con
ceit was closed by the rendering ot
"Tho Star Spangled Manner. "
