the proposed road at a price of nearly

nnd would shorten tho route from Al
bany, N. Y and other Hudson river
points to T'lttnburK Hilly 100 miles.
Contracts have already been entered
Into with tho Delaware and Hudson,
the Huffalo and Susquehanna, tho
Pennsylvania, mid tho western New
York and Pennsylvania railroads for
the delivery of large quantities of
freight every year.
