Columbia Hose company requesting

members may have a better view of
Main street. This was also referred

DEATH OF MKS. WALSH.
Mis. Anthony "Walsh, nee O'Xell,
died at her home on the South Side
after an Illness of scvcrnl months.
She was born here thirty yeais ago.
Three yea is uro she was married, and
two. sons, aged 2 :ears and 7 months
respectively, survive her. The funeral
will be held at 0.10 o'clock Wednesday
morning. A mass of requiem will be
said.

A rumor was rlieulated around both
boroughs yestciday that Danny Will-
lams, a well known young man of May
lleld, had been killed while at wotk at
Edgerton. The rumor caused quite a
sensation until Its falsity was proven,
the upoit being quite groundless.

of a deadlock. Previous to the ad

In "The Only Way," which will be
the big attraction at the Lyceum to
night, Henry Miller has made the suc
cess of his caiecr as the hero, Sydney
Caiton. As Is now quite well known,
"The Only Way" Is a powerful and

Dickens' gieatest novel, 'A Tale of
