He lay unconscious for several bouts and death seemed Imminent, but last night Dr. "Wheeler, who attended him, said he showed signs of improvement and there was hope of recovery. OLYFHANT. While stnndlng at the Delaware and Hudson crossing on Dunmore street Tuesday ns a train was passing a horse attached to it carriage belonging to D, J. Jordan became frightened, dashed across the tracks and down Lackawanna street, where he was tin ally caught. The gates at the crossing were down and one of them was com pletely smashed. Mr. Jordan, who was in the carriage, was thrown out and sustained several painful bruises. The funeral of Mrs. Uobert Telford, who died on Monday lust, took plaoi from the borne of John Bongoff In Blakely yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, and was attended by a large numbr of friends and relatives.
