Litts. The plaintiff sued to recover
damages for farm stock and Imple
ments which were taken from the Vos
burg faim at Clark's Summit, for which
the defendant was ugent and the plain
tiff occupant. Tho question hinged
on whether or not the plaintiff had .a
lease, as lie claimed and the defendant
denied.
OBITUARY.
Frederick Haines, aged forty-four
years, a resident of Fifteenth street,
died at his homo on Friday evening,
after a short Illness Deceased was
born in Cardiff, South Wales, and had
resided In this city a number of years
