THE SCRANTON TR1 BUN JC-WEDNESDAY, MAY 2J, 1899. fsSBEtEfcfc1 eJ&r The Best Washing Powder DOES IT MEAN A TTJNNELP Humor That Anthracite Park Will Do Used for Huge Storage Yard. The rutnor that Anthracite park Is to bo used by the Delaware and Hud son company as a dumping ground for coal Is too preposterous for considera tion. One of the great leaks In the transportation of coal via of the canal was duo to the transfer pockets at Honesdalo and this transferring Is Just what coal companies desire to avoid. A car onco loaded should reach the destination of' the coal before being emptied. This talk, however, has given rise to another rutnor which may have some foundation. It is that an immense storage yard will be built In Anthracite park and used for the concentration of coal prior to transportation through the Mooslc mountain tunnel, which has been built so many times on paper. Some well Informed men who hold to this theory say they would not be sur prised to sou contractors commence work on that tunnel any day, COMING WEDDING-, Mr.jnd Mrs. John Edwin Watt have IssadHnvltntlons to the marriage of thelBaughtcr, Mary Elizabeth, to JamwFjaspcr Thompson, M.
