even with the use of imperfect and make-.-hlft
appliances. . .,
Tlie rapid Increase In the sale of these
appliances make It clear that the lielel lor

tins kitchener that has been a three years'
Mihlcet of careful study.
Thorgh occupying a space of only twen.
ly-fuur inches s-piaro it has all the ca
pacity and more than the convenience of
I c.ial or gas range with live notive lire
holes and which would require a space
nt Ipast three by four feet.
Moreover, the fotm of the Grill Is such
that tt is ornamental rather than ugly
.mil It Is thus made desirable whether
HiH users live in palaces or apartment".
Further, Us construction is such that
II ean ho quickly sot to work perfectly In
any camp or irouutaln or sea shore re
sort. it can bo used In a closet of moderate
size, or behind an ornamental screen in
the corner of any apartment. It Is hand
some enough to Htnnd by Itself as a use
ful piece of furniture.
Mnny other points of Interest are sot
forth In a neat booklet which will be sent
to any address when requested.
The grill was exhibited and a practical
demonstration of Its capacity was made
before tho Scranton Board of Trade at
Its February meeting sutllclent food and
sauces In elegant variety for fifty people
was prepared in tne secretary s palatial
office while the board meeting was in
proeress and while the demonstrator had
had no previous experience In line cook
cry, the expression of satisfaction and
positive delight over the lesults obtained
was universal.
Tho company begs to refer any who may
be interested In the personal opinion of
disinterested parties to the honorablo
president and secretary of the board, or
to any member of tho board who was
present on that occasion.
It Is desired to place tho grill on the
general market early in the present sea
son, and slnco all the details of manu
facture aro completed. It only remains
to make the merits of tho grill widely
known to the general public.
Subscriptions to this end are invited
the lmmedlato proposition being to place
a quarter page advertisement In all the
leading magazines under a yearly con
tract. It Is believed this will bring n,
mall order business sufficient to cnabla
the company to pay a liberal dividend at
the end of tho first six months and cer
tainly within a year.
Tho grills are to be made under con
tract and their cost will thereforo be a
matter of nbsolute certnlnty. The objec.
tlons which somo Investors have to man
ufacturing enterprises do not obtain In
this case.
Thcro will bo no necessity for a large
stock of grills on hand and none out on
tlmo accounts no slow accounts nor bad
debts. Tho grills will be made and paid
for at a fixed price onlv as fast as rash
orders are received nnd the money ftom
saics win do in nana to meet every in
debtedness as fast as they accrue.
Proposing Investors are cordially Invited
to examine tho r.rlll at the office of the
company. No. 7 Coal Kxehange.
The capital stock of the companv will

The bnlance of stock to be sold at par

amount of 21! shares have been sub

No more promising field for prolltnhlo
Investment can be found anywhere today.
Tho grill will be attractively set before
the public in our magazine advertise

liberal cash ciders from every part of tho
United Stales and beyond.
We may reasonably expect early nnd

New York, March 23-The opening was
Irregular with strength In Brooklyn

H to, fiiRt nninrd xtnelt broke 4 ner cent

transactions In St. Paul and litirllimlon

recovery of the division In Its price, and
Ilttrlingtnu and Qulney on quite heavy
covering of shorts. Steel nnd Wro was
strong whllo Manhattan Railway was of

there aro going to bo sky-rockets In It
and any one who can buy It on u 20 per
cent, n nrgln. will sec, we think, 40 per

London was an unimportant factor,
buying slightly on balance. The feature
of the market dating the early part of
the day was strength ol the Graimers,

by Hock Island. Atchison preferred was

In the lain afternoon People's dns was

There may be some decline from present

there Is no question but that tho public
