Tonight will ilnlsh his ministrations among us. Last evening he spoke fiom the test: "tTnto Him who hath loved us and hnth washed us In Ills blood " Ho began as usual bv fastening tlm etien Hon of the congregation by a brief Il lustration, on this occasion the princi pal one being a lecital of n conversa tion with a, steamship agent who told of his views of electricity tint the reason It reajhed lets development on the other sldj was because of the short dlctances, and the cheap and available coal. He believed that In tho Bahamas, where the trade winds blow steadily sK months In tho year, tho power could thus be geneinted to run ull tho mills In the w oi Id. "But." said the speaker, "Steadier than nil the trade winds 1b the breath of the Spirit Does it blow about your heart? When It dies down Into a culm that's hell. Never a soul found Christ out of the trade wind of tlv love of God. He has washed us from our sins In Ills own blood. That Is the second note In the redemption song. I know God Is love that is the llrst: but I know I am vile, he must wush me. It Is tho divine philosophy. Once when Robert Bruce was hiding In tho fotests the Fngllsh let the leash of his own bloodhounds and tot them on bis ttnil. Can I escape? A stream opens at my feet, not glasy and clem, but ciimson with the blood of the P.iviom the blood Hows between me and those who would devour me. About a month ftgo the neighborhood above "Dutch Hollow." near Mountain L-tke. known as the "Hill of Hell," was alaimed by the finding 0f dynamite bombs In tho coal-sheds of Mrs. Grcen wald and Mrs. Hellermait. Tho bomb found by Mrs Hellermnn was vastly different in construction than the one deposited in Habotstroh's shed. Tho day in question, Mrs. Hellerman, when engaged in getting coal, found two pieces of wood nniled tightly to gether. She opened it nnd found a heavy chaige of dynamite. The mat ter was called to tho attention of the police, but no arrests weie made.
