TWO MENS FEET FROZEN.
Ono Was a Tramp and the Other a
Hungarian.
Two men, one with both feet fiozen
and one with ono foot frozen, wete re
ceived yesterday at the Lackawanna
hospital.
The most seilous case of the two Is
that of John Kennedy, a tramp who
gives Iluffnln as his residence nnd who
came Into Scianton on the bumper of
a lielsht car. He began working his
way south along the Delaware, Lacka
wanna nnd Western road last week
During tho snow storms of Saturday
and Sunday he rested In towns alotipT
tho road but on Monday he stowed
himself In a freight car and continued
his Journey
When Kennedy reached this city lat
Tuesday night, his foot which had
been fiozen dining Monday, was in
bad shape. He applied for admission
at the hospital yesterday.
John Donnls, n Hunguilan, had both
feet frozen on Monday while In tearch
of work neat Taylor. Though ho suf
fered great pain ho continued to walk
about until yesterday when some one
told htm hi real condition. Tt Is be
lieved he will bo discharged from tho
hospital In a few days

Bond Measure Is Up for Considera
tion on Third Reading.
Each hranch of the councils will
meet tonight, tho select branch In reg

bond ordinance on third reading.
It Is not probable that the bond
measure will have clear sailing. Tho
disposition to "follow your leader" and
load the ordinance down with amend

addition. It Is now opposed by Several
