SCRANTON
STORE.
124 and 126 Wyoming Avenue.
The first business day
at our new store
Thousands will be here again today for there was satisfaction beaming on every
countenance of all the multitudes here last night. Such a gala event had not been
witnessed in some days and the surprise of all was manifest in many ways.
But now to business : This is to be a Christmas store in every sense of the
word. Holiday shopping will be made easy and interesting. Assortments are
greatest here and in many departments stocks are entirely new, having never been
shown before. Selections were made with a special view to meeting great holiday
demands and nothing has been forgotten.
The book store is particularly interesting. Comprehensive classification and
extensiveness of stock makes buying easy here. And then there is the bric-a-brac
department. Nearly one hundred feet of counters and shelving makes it the equal
of the best in the city.

Dr. J. C. Ayer's Pills are a specific for all diseases of the liver, stomach?
and bowels. These testimonials are from the thousands received :
"I suffered from constipation which assumed sucli an obstinate form that I feared it
would cause a stoppage ot the bowels. After vainly trying various remedies, I began to
take Ayer's Pills. Two boxes effected a complete cure." I). BURKE, Saco, Maine.
For eight years I was afflicted with constipation, which at last became so bad thai
the doctors could do no more for me. Then I began to take Ayer's Pills, and soon the
bowels recovered their natural and regular action."
WM, II. DcLAUCKTT, Dorset, Ont.
' Ayer's Pills are the best in the world. I used to be annoyeo" with constipation until
I began using them ; now I have no trouble of that kind any more, and I attribute my
recovery to the use of vour valuable Cathartic Pills."
