Robeit Daly, a young man, exper ienced the sensation of having part of his right hand giound off by a drilling machine yesterday at the Cliff works of the DIt kson Slanulucturlng com pany He was in chaige of the ma chine. At the Lackawanna hospital, where Daly was taken, the surgeons cut away the mangled shreds, leaving only part of the hand remaining. The accident happened at 11 o'clock in tlio morning. Daly wns engaged in dillllng out with the machine In his chaige a piece of .steel, to be used on a locomotive. The steel rented In u 111 in giooved bed of the machine, and the dillllng tool, a pecullaily shaped piece of steel, cjllndiical in lonn nnd notched with sharp teeth of steel, which.
