Hut tho Cvpnrts Are Not Able to Open It. Jonas Long's Sons n week ago pur chased for their department store a safe which proved too good for the money It cost. It refused to be un locked by even those who thought they possessed the combination. E. F. Roth, 6f Wllkes-Rarre. was summoned to try his sleight-of-hand and failed. The manufacturers then sent an expert snfe-cracker, but his manipulations were in vain. It was the liurglar-proof vault Insldo tho safe proper which refused to be opened. The expert has tried his arts for near ly a week and it Is feared the safe will have to be returned to tho manufac turers and opened by force. For Year. Detective. BARRING & MSWEENEY.
