condition, the result of a dose of ether.
Cole and, his Wife have been Separated
for'some time, the latter being In New
Castle. Sho returned to New Brighton
1-vst evening and v ent lo the home of a
local merchant. Ccle called and began
to beat his -wife. Officers were sum
moned but on their arrival Cole was
gone.
He was arrested this morning at his
home, but excused himself while he
went Into another loom. He returned,
but on the way to the lockup fell to
the pavenn-nt gasping "I am done for."
