Philadelphia capitalists contemplate building an electric railroad between Port Jervis and Stroudsburg. The length of the road will be forty-two miles. TONS OF HONEY., On Elk mountain, near Merrick, there Is said ttf be an extraordinary lot of wild honey. The hive is located in a rift, which psnetrates the rock probably to a depth o. 10 feet. The orlllce Is thirty feet long tiiiu seventeen r.'et wide. The rift was discovered to be the abid ing place of a huge swarm of bees, which tlies in a close column, one foot in diameter. Many persona have tried to get to the honey stored by the bees, but were invariably driven back. One Han. three years ago, nearly lost his life in tho attempt. Others have buLlt a scaffold 125 feet high in the hope of reaching a place where they vainly tried to run a tube into the hoard of sweets and extract a little.
