The Latest Development in Vehicles.
A Buggy Possessing Tubular Steel Gear, Bail-Bearing Axles, Bail
Bearing Fifth Wee I, Ball -Bearing Shaft Attachment and a Practical
Pneumatic Tire.
The above is an illustration of the latest novelty in vehicles. It ia a business bunny, hung on a weld
less steel tubular gear, the connections of which (with the exception of the fifth whe;l) are brazed as If
in one piece, like a bicycle- There are no bolts, clips,, nuts, etc., to loosen or rattle and no joints except
the necessary working parts. These gears are made of the highest class tubing, and thus makes It possi
ble to prpduee a gear of exceedingly light proportions. The weight of the wnou complete, as above
shown, for two passengers, Is only 131) pounds, The bearings of the spindles, tilth wheel and even the
shaft attachments, are all ball bearings. The wheels are made of steel wire and have a thoroughly prac
tical non-creeping pneumatic tire. Those wheels, combined with the ball-bearing axle, reduces the draft
of the wagon fully 70 per cent. In order to meet the demand for light und easy running vehicles, WA1.
BLUME & SON, the enterprising Carriage Builders, of 522 and Ml Spruce street, are building a very
fine line of these vehicles, which they are prepared to furnish at manufacturers' priaes. A large stock of
business and pleasure wagons on hand. ftaTNote the Address,

MARKET AKD STOCK REPORT
Wall Street Review.
New York, April 28. This was another
dull day at the Stock Exchange. Ttia
transactions aggregated only l."7.7 shares.
In the early trading a higher range of
prices prevailed in sympathy with reports
from London of a firm market for securi
ties there. The advance was equal to '-a
Ti per cent, lu the aenral list, the latter
in Chicago Uas. while Consolidated ttas
moved up from 13 to the highest liK
ure yet attained. There was a fair de
mand for international stocks for London
account. The reduction in the price ot
Rehned Sugars, however, and advices
from Uermany that the Reichstag would
probably pass the sugar bounty bill, led
to a decline in Sugar Trusr slock from
KVi to L, and this weakened the whole
market. A report that tho American To
bacco Trust would be enjoined from pay
lug the scrip dividend recently declare 1
led to a decline in that stock from "2't to
70'j, but a recovery to 71!i subsequently
took place. The net losses in the gen
eral run of stocks were only Vt to 'i tier
cent, and according to statements made by
leading commission houses, the selling had
no special significance. Speculation closed
about steudy In tone despite rumon which
wer partly confirmed at the sub-treasury
that between $1.5ix,ii and $2,ono,ou) gold
will he shipped to Euroie on Saturday's
steamers. It is to be noted thnt while the
posted rato for demand sterling was ad
vanced a half rent to $4.90, the rates at
which actual business was done, were
only a small fraction higher than on yes
terday. The demand from remitters is
light and If gold is hipped it will be n
special orders.

TAYLOR,
The council meets tomorrow eYenlnff.
The lecture delivered by Pr. Parn-i-worth
Tuesday eventaff at the Welsh
Congregational church was very In
structive throughout. A map of Ar
menia and Its surrounding was pro
duced and the doctor, who is so well
Informed on the geography of the place,
illustrated It most beautifully. The
latter purt of the lecture was charac
terized with very pathetic lntiguatre,
which was the means of causing very
many tears In the audience. The church
have decided to devise some plan by
which a substantial sum may be
raised to assist in alleviatinij the
troubles of those people.
No place like Taylor for John Daniels
and family, who recently moved front
South Taylor to Providence. They are
returning this week.
