Two Lackawanna Coanty Caeca Sent
Hack from the Supreme Court.
Among a number of decisions handed
down yesterday by the supreme court
in session at Philadelphia, were two af
fecting cases In this county. In each
case new trials are granted.
One Is the suit of Mrs. Fannie Aswell
against the city for damages for grad
ing of Tenth Btreet. The Jury gave a
verdict of $700 and the case was ap
pealed by City Solicitor Torrey.
The other case was that of OomcByg
and others against Itussell and others,
an ejectment suit for a larse acreage
of coul land in Llakcly township.

izing a Junior Christian Endeavor so

consequence to a church, we do not
