Harry Rielly lust Monday evening at
his home on Van Bureu avenue. In
honor if his having reached the
twenty-first milestone of his life. Mr.
Rielly was the recipient of a large num
ber of gifts, among which was a hand

Indebtedness of l.aekawanna Township
Will Soon Da Paid Off.
The report of Attorney John B. Col
llngs, master and examiner In the
equity suit brought to determine the
outstanding indebtedness of Lacka
wanna township at the time Taylor
boiough was partly formed from it, has
been Anally approved by the court.
Exceptions were filed to his first re
port by Attorney C. Comegys on the
part of the township, and Attorney
John M. Harris on the part of the bor
ough. He took the report bank and It
was revised to meet the satisfa.'on of
all concerned and in this shape .vas
again presented to court and approved.
As it now stands the debt of the
township when theborough was formed
amounted principal and interest to J2,
400.92; of this amount the township
must pay $1,995.87, and the borough

Judge Edwards Issued an order di
recting the supervisors of the township
and the burgess of tho borough to Issue
a special tax for the amounts la which
each Is Indebted. Tax Collector James
Butler, of Mooslc. was appointed re
ceiver for the taxes and empowered tr
pay off the Indebtedness as soon as the
money shall be collected.

At the regular meeting of the Scrart
ton Business College lyceum last even
ing, after the conclusion of the busi
ness part of the meeting, the following
very Interesting programme was ren

reading of the Lyceum Review created
much laughter and applause.
