A marked improvement In frelffht traffic Is reported by the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia and Reading rallroa.ls. The Lehigh Valley road moved 1.C0 loaded east-bound cars of freight out of Buffalo on Saturday, which wes the highest, record of the Buffalo division, and it (s said it could have been much Increased If cars had been obtainable. The Reading coal tonnage for the week ended November 16 amounted to 327.859 tons, an increase, over the same week last year of 5,420 tons. For the year to date shipments have aggregated 13.068,593 tons, an Increase as compared with the same period last year of 1,189, 558 tons. The Lehigh and Wllkes-Barre.accord-Ing to the Hazleton Standard, is having a slope sunk on the Lykens Valley vein, which was discovered at No. 8 Honey Brook, a short time aso. Yesterdu the coal was reached in the new slope, and it will now be but a matter of a few weeks until it has reached the depth de sired. In all there has been three veins cut In that territory during the past few weeks by the gang of drillers engaged there. One was thirteen feet In thlck ness, on which the now slope la being driven.- Another was nine feet and the third one four feet In thickness. After the Lykens Valley is thoroughly opened up attention will be given the other two veins. With each of these seams In working' order, the Honey Brook col liery will have a supply of coal that can not be exhausted for many years. RAILROAD NOTES. TO PUT ON needed flesh, no mat ter how you've lost it, take Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Dis covery. It works wonueis. By restor ing the normal ac tion of the deranged organs and functions, it builds the flesh up to a safe ami healthy standard promptly, pleasantly and nat urally. The weak, emaciated, thin, pale ana puny are maae strong, plump, round and rosy. Noth ing so effective as a strength restorer and flesh maker is known to medical sci ence; this puts on healthy flesh not the fat of cod liver oil and its filthy compounds. It rouses every organ of the body to ac tivity, purifies, enriches and vitalizes the blood so that the body feels refreshed and strengthened. If you are too thin, too weak, too nervous, it may be that the food assimilation is at fault. A certain amount of bile is necessary for the reception of the fat foods in the blood. Too often the liver holds back this element which would help digestion. Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Discovery stimulates, tones up and invig orates the liver, nourishes the blood, and the muscles, stomach and nerves get the rich blood they require.
