Much Monoy in Circulation.
Money was never more plentiful on
this side than at the present time. The
reason for this is the unusual long run
of "full time" at the many collieries.
.In Taylor and vicinity 845,000 were dis
tributed - Tuesday.' from the Holden,
Pyne, and Taylor collieries. The am
ount of cash In circulation on the West
Bide is considerably greater owing to
the greater number of working places.
. This abundance of general welfare has
Stimulated trade and the merchants' are
, doing a big business. There Is one
happy fftot which is worthy, of men
tion; There are fewer drunken men on
the' streets than is usual after a big
pay day. The West Bide pincers have
'.locked up very few intoxicated men
thus far, the number not reaching five
; persons. The miner residents seem to
be paying off old debts '. incurred. In

Fight of the Board of Appeals and the
Assessors Traasferred to Councils.
Both branches of councils will meet
tonight and It Is probable that the fight
between the assessors and board of ap
peals will be one of the chief topics
of consideration.
City Clerk Lavelle stated yesterday
that he will make a report of the mat
ter in a communication addressed to
each council. His letter, he said, will
be very brief and to the point, merely
setting forth the fact that he had at
tempted to carry out the Instructions
of councils as contained In the joint
resolution, 'directing him to remove the
assessors' furniture, and that the as
sessors resisted him and prevented the
carrying out the councils mandate.
He will also state that he awaits the
councils pleasure In the matter.
None of the assessors could be found
at their office yesterday, but. Clerk
George Heusner averred that as far as
he knew the assessors did not propose
to make any statement to councils.

A SHORT CURE.
A DOCTOR'S EXPERIENCE WITH 1
BAD CASE OF KIDHEt DISEASE.
Sparagus Kidney Pills Perform a Com
plete Cure In a Short Time.
Symptoms of Kidney Diseases, and
Why They Are Dangerous.
Dr T. F. Joyce, of Lynn., Mass., a
graduate of the N. T. University. '83,
uses Dr. Hobb's Sparagus Kidney
Pills In his practice.
It is unusual for regular physicians
to use proprietary medicines, but many
use Dr. Hobb's Sparagus Kidney Pills.
They do because they know that the
principal Ingredient is a special ex
tract made from the root of Asparagus,
containing all virtues in a concentrated
form. They do because they know that
Dr. Hobb's Sparagus Kidney Pills are
purely vegetable and perfectly harm
less. They do It most of all because they
have found Dr. Hobb's Sparagus Kid
ney Pills will cure. In cases where the
drugs of the pharmacopoeia have been
unable even to afford relief.
Dr. Joyce writes: .

Gentlemen:
When my attention was flrst called
to Dr. Hobb's Sparagus Kidney Pills,
and their component parts made known
to me. I was forcibly impressed with
the combination as being one of great
value for kidney diseases and all other
ailments arising therefrom. ' '
I found In one particular case, which
had battled all my previous efforts, that
they performed a remarkable and com
plete cure in a very short time, and ever
since I have used them In my practice
with the most pleasing results in all
cases. Very truly yours,
T. F. JOYCE. M. D.
