D. N. McKee, the Seranton Christian
scientist, has been nolle prossed, or.
rather, will bo at November term of
court. The suit was brought for al
leged violation of the state law com
pelling medical practitioners to regis
ter. McKce treated the late Elmer
K. Hi-own by the method known and
applied by that class of heelers. As
the law plainly prohibits nny one from
practicing the healing art without llrsr
registering as a medical practitioner,
the notion wan taken to compel the de
fendant to comply with the law. The
case has been settled 111 some shape.
