It occurrod as follows: Erie coal train in charge of Conductor Madigan was southward bound aud whs nearing bridge five when suddenly a cow made its appearance and started across the track. The engineer sounded the whistle, bnt the creature was too close nnd came in contact with the cow catcher. Six cars were derailed, four of the cars being thrown wedge shaped aud iu nearly all conoeivable shapes oa the bridge. The wrecking crew from Carbondale soon arrived oa tbe scene and started the clearing of tbe wreck.
