Lewis would pick the cherries and place them in a pail which his daughter held. At this point John It. Williams, of Cellevue, a friend of the family, came along and began to climb the tree. Ho stepped on the limb where Miss Lewis and her father were, und a moment later it broke with a snap, precipitat ing all three to the ground. Andrew Swift, of Archbald, a young lad of 10 yeursj came to this city on Saturday evening to visit a family named Eaton on Ninth street.
