have Organised base ball club. W. Daly

Pitcher Brown, of Baltimore, stand in
a fair way to be suspended. He sent word
to Manager Haulou that he was ill aud
oould not report ut tho ground for several
days. Mr. Huulou is dissatisfied because of
several previous absences of Brown. Ho

The clerks of Taylor challomrod a ball
club from tho Price library. The latter
accepted and arranged a team that would
swipe the earth with the "counter jump
ers." The clerks then backed down aud
wanted to go outside of their number for a
team. Tho result is that tho Library boys
will play the clerks md no one else, and
that the club will bo comprised of mem
bers of the association. Two teams from
the Library have now been arranged, who

In the third, Choynski landed heav

and making him groggy. Lob got up
and fougiit on the defensive, until the
round closed. Fitzsiintnons afterwards

insist on is that the grand gtiind at the

why the present ramschockle should longer
remain as it is. Of course the club intends
to erect a stand capable of seating 2,000
porsons, but this does not relieve the direc
tors from their responsibility. There will
be present men and women, not from this
state alone, but from several states, and

three races, rotlred to his tent and

Raymond, who was present, threatened to
disqualify him if he did not rido.

ronU race of the Detroit wheelmen at
Hollo Isle Saturday afternoon. John

previously made, was broken by W. W.
