President Albert L. Johnson on Satur
day evening officially denied that Kelly or
any othor players had boemrcluased. He
said the team, with the exception of Kelly,
had been pluying good ball and tho loss of
at least three gamos last week was due to
Kelly's grotesque actions, which discon
certed the rest of tho players and made
them indifferent. Mr. Johnson suid that
he had telegraphed and written to Kelly
that if be pitches another inning he will
be bounced forthwith, and what Mr.

week, and Mr. Johnson believes that by

will have practically won tho champion
