DEATH OF A PIONEER PRINTER. A. F. Randolph, Well Knowa to Scran tonlana, Expires in Ashsvtlls. Last Sunday in Asheville, N. C. , A. F. Randolph, a printer well known to residents of the twin valleys, passed uway after less than a week's wrestle with pneumonia. Mr. Randolph was born in New Jersey in 1M;I3. After serving at the case in various places he enlisted in the Union army, while he was located at Pittston, served credit ably and was for twenty yoars em ployed as compoyitor iu the govern ment printing ofll:e. Four years ago he removed to Asheville, where his son, W V. Randolph, Is part proprietor of the Daily Citizen. Mr. Randolph was a brother of John Randolph, of South Hydo Park avenue, aud had many friends in Scranton and Pittston, who will deeply regret to learu of bis death.
