A few minutes later the crowd was aug mented by 200 or more persons from this place who had come to witness the entertainment. Fortnn ately, however, nobody was seriously injured, the most severe being a young girl who bad a lag painfully bruited. The accident caused n temporary suspension of the festivities, and to Father McCabe much crodit is due for his promptness in bringing order ont of chaos, thereby averting what might have proved a serious calamity.
