eller, an accident occurred on a railroad near
Boston, and the second-class car rolled down
an embankment, 'rho railroad officials, as
soon as possible, hastened after it, expecting
to find the occupants dead or wounded. Af
ter some difficulty they succeeded in opening
a door,
and discovered a man leaning • up
againstthe casing. With signs of agitation
he asked one of them, "Cuff I come out
now, sir?" evidently tinder the impression'
that the rolling over and over wan part of the

away as though a sheriff was in pursuit.
