- We are honestly of opinlon that when capital and
enterprise shall have developed the lands along the
creek, that locality will be found to compare in the ex
tent of its Oil production with the Venango district,
while in the.purtty, gravity, and value of the Oil, it is
acknowledged to be infinitely superior. Our convic
t, one on this subject are based upon actual knowledge
and observation of both regione, and of the geological
formations and surface indications.-...We are , gratified to
learn that we are not alone in these favorable llnpres
gen s and auguries.
