FIFTEENTH WARDI
THE LAST OPPORTUNITY ! 11
Am adjourned meeting of the Citizens of the FIF
TEENTH WARD will be held at the
BAPTIST CHAPEL,
EIGHTEENTH AND SPRING GARDEN,
ON TUESDAY EVENING, 23d INSTANT,
AT 8 O’CLOCK.
The Citizens Of this ’Ward, liable to the Draft, are ear
nestly admonished that the meeting on TUESDAY will
be the LAST opportunity left them to come forward, and
by a proportionate contribution, from each person in
terested, free themselves and their families from the
anxiety and trouble which are sure to follow their con
tinued apathy and neglect.
More than Sixteen Thousand Dollars have been con
tributed by about five hundred persons, (many of whom
are sot liable,) and about Ten Thousand Dollars more
will fill the Quota. The MEN are ready, the MONEY
ONLY is wanted,
Will the Two or Thousand more, who have done nothing
worth mentioning, remain idle, and .depend upon the
genercsity and industry of their more energetic and pa
triotic neighbors ?
Many who hesitate now. about giving fire or ten dol
lars, which a little economy would in a few weeks make
good to them, will bitterly regret their parsimony and
folly when it is too lato.
Let everyone in the Ward liable to the Draft be pre
sent at the meeting. Let every man who is interested,
resolve not only to come himself, but aleo to bring his
neighbors and friends along with him, and it can be de
monstrated to their entire satisfaction that a compara
tively trifling turn from each will insure them against
any further anxiety on account of the impending con
scription.

f*3g*— EIGHTH WARD —TO THE 19,500
CITIZENS OF THE EIGHTH WARD WHO
HAVE NOT YET AIDED IN THE EFFORT TO AVOID
TuE DRAFT.—Lsbb than five hundred of your fellow
citizens, generously coming forward, have contributed
nearly $2O OCO. Look over the liet recently published,
you will find there the names of muy. ladies and old
men, not themselves liable. Of the three thousand
men now subject to the draft, but few have done any
thing. Five dollars paid by each of these men, or by
their wives or mothers, would furnish the balance re
quired, and thus secure them against conscription.
The names of all who contribute prior to the Ist Of
March (including some who were omitted in the list
above referred to), will be published. Thus a record

MEXICAN MUSTANG LINIMENT.
The parties in St. Louis and Cincinnati, who have been
counterfeiting the Mustang Liniment, under pretence of
proprietorship, have been thoroughly estopped by the
courts. To guard against further imposition. I have pro
cured from the United States Treasury a private steel
plate revenue stamp, which Is placed over the top of
each bottle. Bach stamp bears th efac simile of my sig
nature, and without which the article is a counterfeit,
dangerous, and worthless imitation. Examine every
bottle. This Liniment has been in use and growing in
favor for many years. There hardly exists a hamlet on
tbe habitable globe that does not contain evidence of its
wonderful effects. It it the best emollient In the world.
With its present improved Ingredients, its effects upon
