side, or their recruiting agents, who are authorized to
enlist, and who will give all information in relation to

The Commanding General therefore calls upon all ve
terans in the Department who have so nohly sustained
the reputation of their States on hard-fought battle-fields
to enroll themselves at once in the service, that rebel
lion and civil war may receive its death-blow 1 .

Warrants for the City Bounty (two hundred and
fifty dollars) will be issued to all rew recruits for old
regiments, credited to tbe quota of PhUade.phia on the
coming draft.
v Muster rolls, certified. by proper mustering officers,
must be sent to the offico of the Commission one day pre
vious to the issuing of the warrants.
Officers must accompany and vouch for their men when
the warrants are delivered.
Philadelphia soldiers re-enlisting in the field will re
ceive their warrants as soon as certified copies of the
muster-in-rolls are furnished to the Commission by the
Adjutant General of the State.
The Commission sits daily from 3 to 6 P.M., during
which hours only warrants are delivered.
These warrants are cashed on presentation at the office
