THE MARRIAGE OF THE PRINCE OF
WALES.—With trumpet flourish and roll of.drum,
In cadence measured and timed, passing plume and
lustrous train, gold and jewel, cloth of gold, satin
and ermine, ribbons and stars, condense and form a
pyramid of colors, which tapers in at the door of
Windsor Chapel, and lights up that space which can
be seen through the gateway, as peer and peeress,
knights of the garter, and ministers, gather in their
places. As the trumpeters reach the choir, blow
ing lustily the exultant strains, they pass to the
right and left, and Beethoven's triumphant' march
heralds the arrival of the procession in the choir.

'THE GREAT MILL BETWEEN THE PRO-
Erin's LEAVORITE, " GREEN•BACH," AND THE
llainOmaus' PET, "YELLOW-BOY."—This little affair,
so long talked about, came off this week, when but
few people expected it. The police got wind of it,
but were on hand too late to atop the proceedings.
Bets had been offered freely on " Yellow-boy," for
some weeks past, even as high as 70 to 1, and the
friends of "Green-back" were a little down in con
sequence, but, on coming to the scratch, "Green
back" showing such good bottom, betting went
down to 36 to 1. On the first round, " Yellow-boy "
was "sent to grass;" great cheering for " Green
back." Between, Boards "Yellow-boy" rallied,
when "Green-back" came up " smiling," and at
the "Second Board" " Yellow-boy " was completely
"knocked off his pins." Second round : "Yellow
boy," came up "groggy," his friends all deserting
him, and considering him an over-rated chap;
"Green-back " got in the first mauley, which w a s
straight 'born the shoulder, when "Yellow-boy"
struck out "wild,' and hitting below the belt,
"foul" was claimed by " Green-back , s " friends,
and "Yellow-boy" not coining up to time, on the
next round, his backers "threw up the sponge."
"Green-back " was borne up Chestnut street on the
shoulders of the crowd, while " Yellow-boy" lies in
a precarious situation in Third street. The applica
tion of a ".Clopperhead " may save hire . .. " Green
back " was treated to a new suit of clothes, at
Charles Stokes & Co.'s, under the Continental, and
ca the next daydooXed as "good so new."
