Bev. Messrs. Noakes, Crowell, Rittenhouse. and Haosell, they tender their thanks most cordially; voluntarily they devoted themselves-to soothing :the anguish of the afflicted. Their labors alternated at the Sunday and Thursday afternoonreligious services, while they were ..ready at all times to pray-for or with the sick, and comfort thn stricken , ones, as well as punctual at the funeral services. Mr. Hammond, the elder ward master; commended himself to the gratitude of every -patient, for his nn wearying thoughtfulness for their comfort, and they are sure there, were none in the building who had not his sy lupe thy. Mr. Ferry, Ward master,. and a majority of the nurses and employees have the - consciousness of duty well done, a sure and lasting reward.
