The proceedings were -opened with ptaytr end reading the Scriptures, the drat (Stem of business trim *acted being the following tribute of -respect to the late Rev. Francis D. Dadd, a victim of the present war, while euiaged in the noble work of minis •taring to tlfe sick and wounded in the Army of the Poto (jjjuc, under the auspices of the Army Committee of this Association. Mr. Ladd, at the solicitation of this Com- Omittee, promptly and gladly volunteered to bear his part 4n this labor of love.
