Arrival of a Prke.—>Oii Saturday night the schooner I'aviiy Jvi arrived at our navy yard from Darien, Ga., as a prize. She was loaded with rice and tobacco, and ran the blockade at that point on the 4th inst., being bound for Nassau, N. I*. She was captured by the United States frigate Si .'Latvrenet, and brought to this port in charge of a prize crew. It was the intention of her master to bring a return cargo of arms and ammunition. He was aid df-camp to General Pillow in the Maxienn war. And breveted captain at Cerro Gordo and major at Chu pnltepec for gallant conduct, 110 wrote the “ War •with Mexico,” 2 vols., Svo, in 7549.
