In compliance with a resolution of your body, 2
respeotfully submit the annexed statement, show
ing a list of the companies of the militia of this
State sworn into the service of the United States,
under the rtqateltion of the President; also, the
number of companies not accepted which have
offered their services.
On account of the various channels through
which the tender of services has been made it is
feared that this information may not be as full as
it wonld have been if applieation had been made
in a more formal manner.
The Companies mustered into service are all
:arced, but not equipped, except in a few in
stances ; uniforms and equipments for the entire
force are being pr epared with all possible energy.
