THE BEACHING OF THE GREAT EABTEILN.
The very important operation of, planing the
Groat Eastern on the gridiron at Milford Maven

document, published by the Portuguese Govern•
mont, allows that the annual production of figs in
the province of Algarve averages 11,238 tons, of
which 2,08 aro consumed in the country, chiefly
in making brandy, and the rest exported. The

portation is principally made to Prance, Holland,
and Belgium.
FRNMONT'S INCOME.--The income of John
0. Fremont, from his gold mines, is set down at
two thousand dollen per day. Elie establishment

which is btought to the mill on a private railroad.
