AND
HIS TALK THERE.
One volume, 12mo. 411.
[From The Saturday Prose.]
" Throughout its pagee there is the glow of Sommer
sunshine and the murmur of Summer winds. Its feel
ing is genial. It hes a moral tone. Itepictures of do
mestic life aredrawq with sympathy, and ther•fore with
truth. It is written in a tome and musical style."
• [From The Church Journal.]
• A quaint volume it is—and a rich and a rare ; with
abundance of solid meat in it, though sometimes it is
not easy to discover the flavor of the meat through the
superbundanoe of the dressing, and spices, and red
pepper; and gravy . The Doctor loves to startle, and
evidently thinks that agood aware is provocative of
thought in mindaunused to thinking ; and he has faith
likewise—great faith—in the dietetio 504 other uses of
laughing."
