(Reported for The Preso.l OPINION Op Joßrlon SYRONd.—The opinion given by Justine Strong, in the somewhat celebrated cue of Whiners. Welsh. in the Court of Nist Price, and which was published in exteriso In TAe Press Of yesterday, bee attracted marked attention. In 'the report which we gave thereof several transpositions of paragraphs rendered the ,conneotion in which a number of the nen tenees &teemed somewhat unintelligible. In the body of the opinion were portions of the ooneleslon. and in the commencement appeared references to authorities • which were not cited by Justice Strong until a state naent of the facts to which they referred was given. The mistake, though Ryan do no very serious harm, we nevertheless greatly regret. Those familiar with the details of the trial could not hare been misled by our account of Its history, which was correct in every par ticular, and rude without prejudice to the patties en gated on either aide. 61YPIVVIR COURT—Chief Justine Lowrie, Justioes Woodward, Thompson, and Recd.—Pittsburg and Con- Dellerille Company vs. Cochran. error to Courtof Common Plena of Fayette county.
