A PaisoHEa's Etiquette.—A curious case of prison etiquette recently occurred in, Delaware. ' A number or prisoners brotto jail, and among them was one named Turnor, under sentence of death for rape. He called upon the Attorney General, coolly seated himself In mb offico, and informed the gentleman that a number oF prisoners had escaped, among them himself; that he was prepared to go back again whenever he oould be assured that he would be safe in so doing. Several of his sooial companions bad been discharged, and in their stead a woman bad been placed in jail who was afflicted with scarlet fever ; ho had formally no tified the deputy sheriff that if suoh conduct was persisted in he.would feel obliged to change his 3 Barters, and that receiving no satisfactory ovi once on the part of the officers of tho jail that his grievances would reoeivo attention, he had thus availed himself of the first favorable opportunity of giving a practical turn to his indignation by leav ing tho promises. He did not oare a straw about the sentence' of death hanging over him. hat he did not want to catch tho scarlet fever. The escaped prisoner was esoortod back to his old quart ers.
