for the purpose of determining a uniform course of *so

contorted ,

transactions iu Flour aro only to supply the retailers
and bakers, within the range of $5 2.5656 for common
brands and extra, and $0 25 up to sl.bs for extra family
and fancy lots, according to brand and quality, the ex
port trade being completely suspended at the present
the stock, however, owing to the light receipts, and a
fair home demand, Is On the decrease, and quite tight
for the Season. Molders of Corn Meal have made souse
concession in order to meet buyers, and a sale of Penm
sylvania Meal has been made at $3.76 tfr bbl., at which
rate there are free sellers. Rye Flour is Selling in is
small way at $4.25 4' bbl. Wheats meet with more in
quiry for milling, and the market is rather hare of geed
and prime parcels, the receipts being very light, and
sales are limited to a few lots, about I,soo,bushols In the
aggregate, at $1.10A51.20 for reds, and Si 15051.30 for
white, the latter figures for prime lots, which is an im
provement. Corn is on the advance, owing to scarcity,
and about 1,600 bushels good Southern yellow brought
76671 e., in store. Oats are not much Inquired after,
and ofibred at 3.5036 c. for fair to good Southern, and but
few selling at these rates. Bye meets with a fair in
quiry, and the distillers are paying 72073 c , but lots In
afore are held higher. Of Bark a sale is reported at
$33 for first quality Quercitron, which is a decline,
although some holders still ask $36 4P tea;
the receipts
aro light, but the demand has fallen off. Cotton is dull
acid unsettled, with a small business doing at irregular
prices. ,Groceries and Provisions are also very inactive,
but holders of the former are rather firmer In their pre
tensions. Whiskey has been selling moderately at 21,l
6220. for eastern and Ohio bbis., and 206210. for
drudges and blids.
BALTIMORE PROVISION MARKET.—There bas
been some little movement to-day In Provisions. We
have reperted sales of 35 MIAs Bacon Shoulders in ono
lot at 13F cte, and of some 40 }aids Shoulders and
Sides in tot at 1334 cis for the former, and 15g ota for
the latter. We note also to-day sales of some 60 bbls
'ldeas Pork at $25. We quote Mess Pork at from $24 to
$2O l and Prime do at $2O per bbl. We hear of no trans
actions in Bulk Meat, and in the absence of sales we can
give no quotation for it, Beef may be quoted at $2O Inc
Mess and $l7 per bbl for No 1. We quote Lard at 13c
vial, and 14e time, for City. There Is 130 Western here.
Butter la selling at 14015 e for Western, 18w22e for
Glades.. Cheese is in fair demand and we note sales of
100 boles Western Cutting at 104 e, and of 60 boxes
',English Dairy do at 1234 c.
