Guernsey, Aug 4.—ln out last number we reported that'
a waterlogged vessel; laden with ’flour, had been fallen
In with by the schooner Jubilee on the. Tuesday pre
vious at about 35 miles to the northwest of this Island
and tbe Queen of the Isles steamer and another vessol
had gone in search of her, hut without success. We
now learn that the derelict ycssel turns out to be the
french schooner Marie Francois®, from Havre for Car
dlff, Which On tho night of the 27th ult. was run down,
when nine iriles off Plymouth, by the brig Stranger, or
Jersey, as reported In our last number, the crew being
aved on board th©\alter vessel.,
Brig Marshfield; Brown, from New York for Santa
Crus, was wrecked near Bishop’s Shoal, Turk’s Island,
on the 28th ult. The crew were saved, with part of the
