Note 1. The Post Mailer General may alter the
times of arrival and departure at any time during the
continuanceiof the contrails, he previously stipuLating
an adequate compensation for any extra expence that
may be occasioned therebv.
Note 2. Half an hour shall be allowed for opening
and doling the mail it all offices where no particular
time is lpecified.

dents excepted) in arriving alter the times prescribed
in any contrail, the contractor (hall forfeit one dollar ;
and it the delay continue until the departure of any
depending mail whereby the mails destined for such

five dollars shall be incurred.
