parchment or paper chaigea-ble with duty,
will cease and determine from and after fix
months from the oate hereof, to wit, on the
lad day of February 1801.
That, if any persons (hall, after the lafl
day of February 1801, have in custody
or polV (Eon, any vellum, parchment or pa
per, marked or damped by the fuperfifors of
the Revenue, upon which any matter or
thing, charged with duty, (hall not have
heen written or printed, they may at any
time within the space of sixty days after
the said /art day of February 1801, bring
or (end such vellum, paixhment and paper,
unto Kims office of infpeftion, »r,d in lieu
thereof, receive a like quantity or value of
vellum, parchment and paper, duly (lamped
in purfuarice of the adt herein before recited.
And in cafe any pcrfon (hall negleft or re
ftife, within the time aforefaid, to bring or
cause to t,e brought unto i'ome officer of in
fpedlion, any fu' h vellum, parchment or pa
per, it is hereby declared, that the fame will
thereafter be of no other effedt or use, than
if ith.d never been marked or (lamped, and

And for the convenience of those persons
who may be inclined to have their own vel
lum, parchment and paper stamped er mark
ed, it is hereby peclared, that when any per
lon fliall deposit any vellum, pa-chment or
paper at the office of a l'upervifor, accompa
nied with a lift, fprcifying the number and
denomination of the stamps or marks, which
are desired to be thereto affixed, the lame
will be transmitted to the General Stpam-
Office, and there properly marked or stamped,
and forthwith lent back to the fame super
visor, who will thereupon tolleft the duties
and deliver tins paper, parchment or vellum,
to the order sf the pcrfon from whom the
fame was received.

Twenty Dollars Reward.
RUN AW AY from the Subscriber on Wednes
day night the sth inflant, a Black TndrnteJ
servant, named Colin, just arrived from Jamaica
in the brig Diligence with (lis matter. He is a well
made lad of 16—17 yean of age, or thereabouts,
has a pleasant countenance, and a small fear on
his left cheek, which yet appears white from a
late fall or blow. He is about 5 fret 5 or fix in
ches high, and had on when he went away a com
mon blue round jacket and trowfers, with a far
vants black glaze ; hat, and had with him white
and (Iriped check shirts and pantaloons.
He is known to be enticed or inveigled away by
a negro man named William, a native ol Boston,
who was Cook ol the said brig Deligcnct, and is a
fl»ut thick man of 35 or 40 yeart ot age, and they
are supposed to travel together' The lai i Colin
contrived to get a parcel containing 30 new dol
lars of the pre lent years co : nage of the U States,
never before in circulation aad a few milled dou
bloons of full weight out of his matters keeping,
and also took with him a silver table spoon with
the cypffr A. R. on it, and a desert knife and fork
with white Ivory handles.
The above reward will be paid to any person
who will bring the said Colen and William to the
