James, the brother of the complainant's named as
one of the Legatees in the said will is de«d, and

dead, and it living where he now refines or lift

and where he waslaft heard of, and if dead, when

Lane, London,on or before the firft day of March

The said Francis James was born at or near
Kidwelly, in the county of Caermarthen, and if
living, is about the age of thirty four years, and
abouc the year 1779, was " remaft man on hoard
the Milford, a merchant (hip, belonging to the
por: of Bristol, and failed (or Jamaica in Septem
ber, 1780, afterwards he returned to Driftol,
an I in November, 1781, was prelTed in King
road, Bristol, and sent oh board the king's frigate
called the Diomede, in which he failed from Ply
mouth «tn a cruise, and on board of which he af
terwards became a quarter gunner, and defcrted
the said (hip at Charleft.cn Bar in North-America
in September 178 a.
Should any person in the United States of Ame
rica, be enabled to giva infermation of the above
named Francis James, whether living or dead, they
