drawing*, it'is proposed to erect two centre
and tour corner buildings, as soon as poflible
after this Lottery u fold, and to convey them
when complete, to the fortunate adventurers,
in the manner dt.fcrlbed in the fsheme for
the Hotel Lottery. A oett dcdu£Uon of five
per cent, will be made to defray rhe nece'f
fary expences of -printing, &c. and the fui
ptils will be'made a part of the fund intended
for the National Univerlity, to be erefied
within the City of W^fbington.
The drawing will commence asfoon

Monday, tbe- 22nd «f Oecfmber ne*t: The
money pr't«s will be payable in thirty days
after it is finifbed, and any prizes for which
fortunate numbers are not produced within
twelve month* after the drawing isclofed are
to be confideted as given towards the fund
for the University, it being determined to
fettle the whole bufmefs in a year from the
ending of the drawing and to take up the
bond* given asfecuriry.
The real securities given for the '.aymen',
of the Prizes, are held by the President and.,
two Directors of the Bank of Columbia, and
are valued at more than half the amount 1 ol
the Lottery. The drawing'will be under
the management of 24 gentlemen approved
by the coramiffioners tor the City of Wa(h
ington, for the time being, and acting on
oath.
