the City of Washington—Two beautiful de

drawings, ft is proposed to crcS two centre
and toui corner buildings, as soon as pofiible
after this Lottery is fold, and to comey them
when complete* to the fortunate adventurers,
in the manner described in the scheme lor
the Hotel Lottery. A nett dedu&ion of five
per cent, will be made to defray rhe mecef
fary expences of printing, &c. and the sur
plus will be made a part of the fund intended
for the National University, to be erected
within the City of WaQiiagto*.
The drawing will commence as soon
as the Tickets are fold, or at all events on
Monday, the 22nd of December next* The
money prices will be payable in thirty days
after it is finifhed, and Any prizes for which
fortunate numbers arc not produced within
twelve monttis after the drawing is closed are
<o be conflicted as given towards the fund
for the Univeffity, it being determined to
fettle the whole business in a year from the
ending of the drawing and to take up the
bonds given aafecurity.
The real fectuities given for the payment
of the Prizes, are held by the President and
two Dirt&ors of the Bank of Columbia, and
are valued at more than half the amount of
the Lottery. The dtawing will be under
the management of 24 gentlemen approved
