Lord Macartney, with his fleet, in number

ships anchored, tho' a verv great distance

get to the mouth of the river, where be found

()n hip arrival at Pekin, the Emperor or

modation, provisions. &c. to be procured
him, his retiour, and ships, at the expence

to the Southward, whete Lord Macartney left
