ON Monday tbe firft day of September
next at 8 o'clock in the evening, at the
Coffee House in the city of Philadelphia,
will be fold by public vendue, two tradlo
qr pieces of land situated in White Clay
Creek hundred, New Castle count)' and state
of Delaware; one of which contains about
sixty acre® of highly improved laud, 011 it
are a large two story brick dwelling house, a
convenient brick barn, with ftitblingand a
carriage hpufe underneath, an e ceileni
kiln for drying corn ; and the well known
mills called Christiana Mills (late Patter
fan's) which being at the head of the tide
on Christiana river, and but about half a
mile from the landing, is conveniently situ
ated for carrying the articles manufactured
at the mills hy water to Philadelphia—This
property being close to the road leading
from Elkton to Christiana bridge, and at
the hand of the tide, with many other at
tendant advantage?, render itsfituation for
tbe milling bnfmefs so very valuable, as to
be equalled by few and < xcelled by none.
The latter tra& containing 175 acres, is
about one mile from the mills and is chief
ly woodland, which being contiguous to
water carriage to the city of Philadelphia,

tratt suitable for the purposes of the

lic Accounts,have reported, that they
cannot proceed to thg. investigation of the
Treasury Accounts, rcfpetting special In
dents, without knowing the outstanding a
mount thereof in ciiculation '.-^-Therefore,
Rcfolvcd., That all holders of special In
dents be directed, and required, on or before
the firlt day of November next, to deliver the
special Indents in their pofteflion to one or
other of the Commissioners of the Treasury,
who are to give receipts for the fame, and to
report to the Commiflioners on public ac
counts, on or before the tenth day of Nov
ember next, the amount by then* refpeftive
ly received, and also to the Legtflature, at
their meeting in November next, and that
all special Indents not rendered into the
Treasury as above, on or before the firft day
of November next, Ihall be, and the" fame
are heieby barred.
Rcjotvedi That public notice of this resolu
tion be given in the leveral Gazettes in this
State, once every three weeks, unnl the firft
day of November next. And that the Dele
gates of this State m the Congress of the Uni
ted States, be requested to cause this relolu

City of Walhington.

that all such should be addrefied either to

Subscriber. The commissioners never hav
ing contemplated any further concern in
this business, than in their afient to receive
the bonds and approve the names of the
managers. The prizes have been paid and
are paying on demand by W. Deakins,
Walhington, Peter Oilman, Bolton, and
by the Subscriber.
Far the Lottery No. 4, the fecuritiesaH

missioners, or transferred by them at their
option to the bank of Columbia ; and the
